What are Sensory Bottles?

Sensory bottles are visual and physical tools for calming and relaxing the body. A child (or adults!) can use a sensory bottle when they feel anxious, overwhelmed, and overstimulated. They shake the sensory bottle and watch the contents shift.

The North Bay Public Library is excited to launch this one-off art program. We invite children to come into the library and create a sensory bottle for themselves! It can be just a decoration for a bedroom or a tool to help them relax if they are anxious, overwhelmed, or overstimulated.

Children ages 4+ are welcome.

Registration is necessary; Come into the children's department to sign up!

$3.00 per ticket
