Book Launch with Barry Grills
Join us on Thursday June 20 from 7-8:30PM in the Mezzanine Room as local author Barry Grills launches his latest novel Infamy. There will be a short reading from the book, plus a Q&A. Light refreshments will be provided. This is a free event! Registration not required.
Infamy is a tale of a family divided. A Vietnam War draft resister named Ian Landry is in ideological conflict with his father but supported in his flight to Canada by his grandfather. The grandfather, Calvin, is a builder of Hollywood western movie sets and meets legends, both real and mythologized, on movie sets over several decades. Both men find the will in Canada to navigate their own personal authenticity.
