Free Stop Motion Workshop with Lily Zhang!

Join us for a special FREE stop motion animation workshop led by stop motion artist Lily Zhang at the North Bay Public Library on March 22nd, from 1pm to 3pm in the Mezzanine Room!

Facilitated by Digital Creator North Bay, a free drop-in dedicated to empowering youth through hands-on digital arts and media programming, this workshop is perfect for aspiring animators aged 11 and up. Whether you’re curious about stop motion or already love creating stories, this is your chance to learn from a pro!

Lily Zhang, a celebrated stop motion animator and puppet maker, will guide you through the basics of stop motion animation, sharing her expertise in crafting whimsical, emotionally rich stories. You’ll get hands-on experience and leave inspired to create your own magical characters and worlds.

Don’t miss this opportunity to explore the art of stop motion—no experience necessary! All you need to bring is your imagination!
